My work is primarily interested with the use and abuse of information in society, through consumer media, politics and advertising. It's the plight of modern society, that we can't escape from information, that it is thrust upon us en masse, to a point where we can no longer make decisions of whether or not to accept the information or not. All information has an agenda and some information has worthwhile properties. Will we find it harder to filter through this information as it increases in intensity to find that which is relevant to us? |
