Curator
and producer of the exhibition, Dan Pillers met with H-Ray Heine, editor
and publisher of digitalsouls.com, in April 2001 to discuss the background
of the project, the figure of the queer widow in the gay community and
society in general, and how the project facilitated the creation of this
collection of works shown in this exhibition.
The
conversation was recorded directly as digital video, using a laptop PC
and a Kodak DV 232 camera. The Real Video clips presented here were created
with RealProducer G2.
A
multi-media cdrom about the "Life After Death: Embracing the Queer Widow"
exhibition is under development and will become available later this year.
